This original 1940's CC41 cotton dress, with a wheat sheaf pattern in china plate shades of blue and navy on a white background, is the perfect piece for your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a soft shawl collar and accented by central blue plastic button fastenings along the front of the bodice. The shoulder line is set off by small internal shoulder pads, setting off the short length sleeves finished with turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice is accented by decorative pockets along each yoke, with scalloped turned down collars in matching fabric and white cotton. The fitted waistline sets off the wonderful line of the skirt, accented by sewn inverted pleats to either side of the centre point of the waist along the front and along the back.
