"Lagoon" Vintage 1950's Black Velvet& Sequin Wiggle Dress
This truly spectacular 1950's black velvet dress, with the most beautiful floral beadwork, is the perfect addition to your festive wardrobe.
Her pleated acrylic sweetheart shaped modesty panel, is framed by short sleeves and a fitted bodice. Her intricate decolletage, is embellished with trailing sequins, beads and rhinestones in iridescent midnight blue, in an undulating pattern of trailing flowers. Her cinched in waistline, sets off the timeless cut of the skirt, decorated with matching bead work, creating an eye catching contrast against the deep black velvet.
Her V shaped backline, sets off the pleated bustle back, adding movement to this iconic piece.
