This wonderful 1950's silk Hungarian blouse, with intricate trailing embroidery, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.

Her elegant rounded neckline is decorated with drawn in smocking pleats, and a border of embroidery. The neckline fastens along the front with a red tassel trimmed string bow, drawing together the keyhole feature along the bust-line.
Her short length sleeves draw in along the tightened pleated cuffs, decorated with smocking embroidery stitches, that set off the embroidered motifs along the top of the sleeves. The iconic cut of the blouse is accented by a central embroidered motif, and cinches in along the waistband, with tightened smocking stitches, embellished with a border of decorative embroidery.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
