This iconic 1950's dress, in a wonderful shade of milk chocolate brown with white floral Broderie Anglaise accents, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage wardrobe.

Her soft rounded neckline is framed by a sleeveless cut. Her intricately embroidered bodice, is accented by an overlay panel, that sits along the bust-line and is set off by an embroidered scalloped hemline, that draws the eye to the cinched in waistline of the dress.
Her wonderful demi-circle cut skirt, boasts small pleats along the waistband, that drape into a full skirt, with a border pattern of floral broderie Anglaise and a matching scalloped hemline, that draws the eye back to the bodice, and creates an eye catching detail.
The beautiful overlay panel fastens along the back of the dress with matching covered buttons, and aids in concealing the zip fastening.
This dress has an inbuilt starched cotton petticoat, to add to the volume of the skirt.
This piece has been photographed with a medium petticoat, which is not included in the listing.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
