"Picnic" Vintage 1950's Pastel Check Print Cotton Day Dress UK 8

With the softest pastel check print in shades of blue, lilac, green and yellow, this 1950's cotton day dress, is the perfect piece for your everyday wardrobe.

Her small pointed collar, is framed by a sleeveless cut, with rounded slits along each shoulder, edged with black cotton pipping. Her fitted bodice, is accented by small black button fastenings, that run along the length of the bodice.
Her cinched in waistline, is set off by gathered smocking stitches below the waistband, that draw in the pleats of the skirt. Her wonderful skirt line, picture here with a medium petticoat for added volume, features 2 large pockets, with turned down tops, edged in black cotton pipping, to set off the details along the bust.
