"Black Roses" Vintage late 1940's Pale Pink & Black Floral Skirt UK 8

This gorgeous 1940's pale pink rayon skirt, decorated with a pattern of hand painted black flowers, accented by black sequins and sewn on black silk velvet millinery flowers, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

With her simple waistband, and flowing demi-circle skirt, backed in soft cotton to add structure to the rayon, enjoy wearing her in a traditional 1940's way, or play with layering.

This skirt has been photographed with a medium petticoat, which is not included in the listing.

Closures:This skirt fastens with 3 hook and eyes and an 6.5 inch metal zip.

Condition: This skirt is in loved vintage condition. There are a few small splits and areas of wear to the rayon, this is well concealed with the cotton backing. Some very light areas of foxing. A larger area of foxing/age marks to the back of the skirt along the hemline. These issues are well concealed within the drape and hang of the skirt, and only apparent under inspection.
