"Bouquet" Vintage 1940's Brightly Coloured Silk Floral Dress UK
This original 1940's dress, made in the most brightly coloured floral pattern, in shades of pink, red, purple and blue on a deep black background, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by a shawl collar, that fastens together with a press stud along the base of the neckline. Her mid length sleeves, are set off by smocking stitches along each shoulder, and small gathered pleats along the length of the sleeves, creating a slight puffed sleeve detail.
Her cinched in waistline, is drawn in by a matching fabric belt, that sets off the pointed seam work along the front of the waist, and ties along the back of the dress.
