"Finding Home" Vintage 1940's Coral Pink Novelty Print Housecoat
This vintage 1940's coral pink 1940's housecoat, with a novelty print of houses in shades of grey, green and blue, is a wonderful addition to your vintage collection.
Her V shaped cross over neckline is framed by a rounded pointed collar, edged with pale blue pipping. Her full length sleeves are edged with matching turned up cuffs and trimmed with pale blue pipping, to match the pipping along the shoulder seams. Her cross overt bodice is drawn in along the waistline with a press stud fastening and matching sewn ties, decorated with blue silk frog knots and tassel trims.
The simple skirt-line, showcases the wonderful drape and iconic style of the era.

Condition: This housecoat is in near perfect vintage condition. A very light and small age mark along the front right hand edge of the skirt near the hemline. A few very small scattered pin holes. A small mend along the shoulder seam on the left hand side beneath the collar. A small darn mend along the back of the bodice concealed within on of the house prints.A small area of wear to the fabric along the right hand side of the bust, and a small pin sized age mark further below. These minor issues are not apparent when this piece is being worn, and only noticeable under close inspection
