"Wool Check" Vintage 1940's Wool Check Button Front Dress UK 10

This beautiful 1940's wool dress, in a soft check weave in shades of caramel and brown, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

Her high rounded neckline is framed by a pointed collar and full length turned up sleeves, with small zip fastenings along each cuff. Her button down bodice, is framed by princess seams, that join the cinched in waistline. Her wonderful skirt, boasts mock button fastenings to each side of the hips, that set off the inverted pleats to the front and back of the skirt.
The wonderful buttons on this dress are decorated with matching wool panelled centres, creating the most eye-catching detail.

Closures: This dress fastens with a 8.5 inch metal zip to the side and 5 buttons to the front with 2 small press studs

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with a small darn to the back of the right hand sleeve. This very minor issue is only visible under close inspection,
