"Pink & Green Botany" Vintage 1940's Silk Floral Draped Dress UK 8 US
This incredible 1940's silk draped dress, in a palette of soft pinks and greens, with an abstract black botanical design, is a rare piece to behold and the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.
Her V Shaped décolletage is framed by a pleated pointed petal shaped collar. Her shoulder line, accented by shoulder pads, sets off the short length pointed turned up sleeves. Her fitted bodice is set off my gathered pleats along the yokes, that drape along the bust-line. Her cinched in waistline is set off by a matching silk covered belt .
Her breathtaking skirt-line, features swooping triangular fold-overs along the hips, creating the illusion of a soft peplum. that sits above her beautifully constructed bias cut skirt, creating an iconic 1940's silhouette.
