"Kate" Vintage 1940's Navy Blue Crepe Silk Dress

This original 1940's dress, made in the most gorgeous navy crepe silk, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

Her rounded neckline is framed by short sleeves and a navy and gold threaded soutache embroidery. Her cinched in waistline draws the eye to the decorative bow that falls into a gathered small peplum to the left hand side of her simple skirt, showcasing the intricate tailoring of the time.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect condition, with a small mark to the back of the skirt. This is not visible when the dress is being worn, and only apparent under closer inspection

Fastenings: This dress fastens at the side with an 8.5 metal zip and 2 hook and eyes to the back of the neckline.

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
