"Marina Bay" Vintage 1940's Navy Blue & White Floral Beaded Dress UK 12-14

This original 1940's dress, made in the most sumptuous shade of navy blue cotton mix, with a raised cross hatched weave, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

Her V shaped neckline is framed by a soft turned down collar, and a mock cropped jacket, that is sewn and incorporated to the dress. Her 3/4 length sleeves set off the fitted bodice, and the mock jacket feature, embellished with a pattern of trailing crewel work stitches and white beads, creating a blossoming trail of flowers along the rounded hemline of the jacket.
Her cinched in waistline, is drawn in my a matching covered belt. Her elegant skirt, boast inverted pleats, that run from below the waistline, and create elegant movement to the skirt.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect condition, some very gentle wear to the fabric along the buckle, and an area of slight colour variation to the skirt, which appears almost black in colour. This is well concealed with the dark shade of navy, is not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon closer inspection.

Fastenings: This dress fastens to the side with a 7.5 inch metal zip.

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.

Fabric: Heavy cotton mix, beadwork, crewel stitches
