"June Arden" Vintage 1940's Abstract Pattern Cotton Dress

This beautiful 1940's dress, with the most eye-catching abstract pattern in shades of yellow black and white, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

Her V shaped neckline is framed by a pointed flat collar, with folded tiered layers of matching fabric. Her short capped sleeves, set off the simple bodice, and cinched in waistline, accented by a pointed seamed panel. The simple drape of the skirt, creates a timeless 1940's silhouette, while the eye catching button fastenings blend in beautifully with the abstract pattern of the dress

Closures: This dress fastens with a 12 buttons and a single hook and eye along the waistline.

Condition: This dress is in well loved vintage condition. She has been someones favourite dress and therefore has signs of wear. Some fraying to the internal label and to the inside seams. Some very small areas of wear to the cotton, these are apparent in the form of small holes: one to the back of the left hand sleeve and to the top of the left hand shoulder, and 3 scattered within the drape of the skirt. These are small and not visible when the dress is being worn. 1 water mark to the front of the bodice next to the first button fastening, This is not visible when the dress is being worn but visible under inspection. , 1 very small thread pull along the waist panel( this is not visible when the dress is being worn, and only apparent under closer inspection) This dress is in very wearable condition and is structurally strong. This dress has been priced accordingly.
