"Le Rouge" Vintage 1940's Red Wool Dress
This timeless 1940's Deep Raspberry red dress in the softest of wools is the perfect piece for your everyday vintage wardrobe.
Her V neckline is framed by a rounded notched collar, small shoulder pads, and 3/4 length turned up sleeves. Her button down fitted bodice is framed by embroidery on either end of an open pleat along each yoke.
Her nipped in waistline is drawn in with a matching belt, setting off the timeless skirt.

Closures: This dress fastens at the front with 4 buttons and with an 8.5 inch metal zip to the side.
Condition: This dress is in beautiful vintage condition, with a small darn to the back of the left hand shoulder, and a small one in the skirt ( this is well hidden within the drape) . 2 extra holes have been punched into the belt. Some light scattered age marks in the skirt- These are not visible when the dress is being worn, and a darker mark to the inside of the collar( this is just before the fold and not visible externally). These minor age related issues are not visible when the dress is being worn and only noticeable under closer inspection. This piece has been priced accordingly.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
