"Moygashel Linen" Vintage CC41 1940's Duck Egg Blue Linen Dress UK 8-10

This original 1940's CC41 Duck Egg Blue linen dress, is the perfect piece to welcome the new season with

Her pointed collar is framed by 3 small pleats along each shoulder seam, and short sleeves, decorated with by 4 button fastenings along each side.
Her fitted bodice, is decorated with 2 rows of 3 small pintuck pleats and hook and eye fastenings along the front.
Her cinched in waistline is set off by an elegant central skirt panel, framed either side by pintuck pleats below the waist. The drape of the skirt features sewn box pleats, that radiate from below the pintuck pleats, creating wonderful movement and drape to the linen.

Armpit to Armpit: up to 34 inches

Shoulder to Hem: 40.5 inches

Shoulder to Shoulder: 13.5 inches

Waist: up to 28 inches

Size: Medium: UK 8-10

Closures: This dress fastens down the front with 3 hook and eyes, and along the side with a 9.5 niche metal zip.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. There is a light age mark just above the right hand side of the hemline, and a small age mark midway along the right hand side of the skirt. A very light age mark along the central panel of the skirt. A small age mark along the internal side of one of the hook and eyes ( this is along the internal structure of the dress and therefore not apparent externally). These very minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon closer inspection.

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
