"Tropical Storm" Vintage 1930's Navy Blue Floral Appliqués Dress & Original Slip

This original 1930's navy blue floral cut-out embroidery dress, with her original sea blue taffeta silk slip is the perfect piece for any special occasion.

Her high neckline is framed by full length sleeves trimmed with points and button and loop fastenings to the back of each cuff. Her fitted bodice sets off the cinched in waistline, and showcases the beautiful sea blue silk slip, that creates a gentle contrast against the navy blue floral pattern. Her nipped in waistline and fitted hip area accent the kick out cut of the skirt, that flairs out beautiful from below the hips. Her simple backline boasts button and loop fastenings along the shoulder blades.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
