This original 1930's black silk satin evening dress and jacket is a Piece de Resistance for any special occasion.
Her high mandarin collar, fastens to the back of the neckline with 2 rhinestone embellished buttons. Her fitted bodice is accented by art deco seam work, that draw the eye to the cinched in waistline, and decorative smocking stitches, gathering central pleats.
Her flowing skirt, sets off the iconic silhouette, while showcasing gold coloured floral metal lace appliqués, descending from the back of the waistline to the hem.
Her dropped V shaped backline , joins the waistline with a decorative fabric loop above a small panel of smocking stitches that lead to the flowing skirt.
The matching jacket, boasts a notched collar, with gold floral lace appliqués, that frame the V shaped neckline Her full length sleeves, set off the cinched in waistline, which is drawn in with a sparkling rhinestone button.
