"Minuit Ici" Vintage 1920's Silk Embroidered Chinoiserie Tunic

This vintage 1920's black silk brocade Tunic robe, with embroidered accents and ribbon appliqués is a rare piece to behold and treasure.

Her rounded neckline is framed by 2 silk frog button fastenings, and a rounded collar of delicate oriental embroidery, that runs along the length of the front, and joins the hemline in an eye-catching border. Her traditional kimono cut, boasts wide sleeves trimmed with delicate needlework embroidery, along the back of each cuff.
Her tunic cut is accented by a central silk ribbon fastening, that sets off the sewn bottom of the robe.
Her elegant side vents, boast intricate swirling details, mimicking the ornamental features of Chinoiserie design.

Closures: 2 frog buttons along the front of the neckline, and a tie fastening along the waist

Condition: This Robe is in near perfect vintage condition. There has been a seam mend under the arm of the left hand sleeves. Two small darns along the front of the right hand side sleeve, and one along the back. Some very light age marks along the back of the neck to the embroidered panel, and 3 small areas of wear to the embroidery next to it. Some general very light age marks to the embroidered panels, but these are not apparent when the tunic is being worn. These minor issues are not apparent when the tunic is being worn, and only noticeable under closer inspection.
