"Chrysanthemum" Vintage 1920's Silk Embroidered Floral Coat
This original 1920's black silk coat, fully embroidered with a pattern of trailing blossoms and chrysanthemums, is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by pointed notched lapels, that cross over just above the single covered button fastening. Her full length sleeves, frame the straight cut of the coat, in an iconic 1920's fashion.
Her intricate silk threaded embroidery, in a palette of cream, yellows, pinks and greens showcase an iconic Chinoiserie floral pattern.

Condition: This coat is in near perfect vintage condition. Some light age discolouration along the back of the collar.Some areas of light colour bleed to the embroidery, where the silk threads have bled on others in storage, this is mainly apparent to the back hemline of the coat where the lilac colour is more apparent. This minor issues are in no way visible when the coat is being worn, and do not detract from the beauty of this piece.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed with great care.
