This breathtakingly vibrant 1930's dress and matching bolero in an eye catching shade of ultra violet, is the perfect ensemble for any special occasion.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by velvet shoulder straps and ruched and gathered elasticated straps that sit along the top of the armlike. The bust-line of the dress is set off by pleated gathers, and a decorative velvet layered side bow. The fitted bodice is accented by triple seam that set off the cinched in waistline and create a tailored cut. The wonderful bias cut skirt, drapes elegantly to join the wide pleated and gathered hemline, mimicking the design along the bust-line. The matching bolero boasts an edge to edge cut, with a strong shoulder line accented by internally sewn shoulder pads. The short sleeves and elegant wide backline complete this dress is an iconic 1930's silhouette.

Closures: This dress fastens with 3 press studs and 3 hook and eyes along the side seam.
Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. Some light thinning to the rayon along the back of the bodice. Natural and light impression marks to the velvet shoulder straps. Sun related colour bleaching to some of the pleated gathers along the hemline. Very light age marks scattered within the drape of the skirt. The bolero has a small pin sized hole alone the back left hand side. Light impression marks and shinning to the rayon along the shoulder lines. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only apparent upon closer inspection.
