This vibrant 1940's silk day dress in a wonderful shade of turquoise blue, with a trailing floral pattern in shades of grey set against white and black bases, is a wonderful addition to your vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by pleated panels that gather along the front of the shoulder lines, looping in along the neckline of the dress in pleated details across the yokes to join the central décolletage. The 3/4 length sleeves, boast pleated gathers along each external side seam of the cuffs. Her bodice is set off the the pleats that radiate from the neckline, drawing the eye to the cinched in waistline. Finished with a simple panelled skirt, this dress showcases an iconic silhouette of the 1940's.
