Rendered in an oyster coloured silk brocade with a pattern of trailing vines, and embellished with silver lamé thread embroidery which in turn is accented by silver faceted glass beads, claw set iridescent rhinestones and white glass beads, this original 1960's cocktail dress is just the piece to add to your collection.
The rounded neckline is embellished with a beaded and embroidered border which joins the centre front of the bodice in a feature embellished panel. The simple shoulder line, sets off the 3/4 length sleeves, which are accented by beaded and embroidered decorative cuffs. The elegant line of the dress is accented by a fitted bodice which is set off by tailored dart lines from beneath the bust line. The wonderful A line cut of the skirt, boasts side slits along each side seam, completing this dress in a truly timeless and iconic silhouette. This dress is lined in soft cotton.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back with a 18.5 inch metal zip and two hook and eyes along the nape of the collar.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light and gentle yellowing along the armpits Light and natural beadwork loss to the embellished panels. There is a very small pin sized age mark along the left hand side front of the bodice just next to the embellished central panel beneath the bust-line. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
