"Trailing Vines & Grapes" Vintage 1950's Faille Trailing Vine Dress UK 10 US 6

A timeless classic, rendered in a wonderful black faille, decorated with trailing vine soutache , leaf and grape appliqués along the skirt line, this original vintage 1950's dress, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

Her V shaped neckline is framed by shoulder straps and a wide off the shoulder collar that joins the front of the bodice in pleated details. The fitted bodice boasts mock button fastenings. The cinched in waist-line sets off the Demi-circle cut skirt, which is decorated with a novelty pattern of grapes and vine leaves. 

This piece has been photographed with a medium petticoat, for added volume in the skirt. The petticoat is not included with the listing.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Some areas of light shining to faille fabric. Some areas of thread lifting to the appliqués in the skirt.
