This enchanting vintage 1940's evening gown, rendered in a tomato red orange tulle, decorate with trailing soutache embroidery and glass beads, layered above a red cotton lining is a piece to behold and the perfect statement to your evening-wear wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by wide shoulder straps. The fitted bodice is accented by tailored darts and seams, that set off the central geometric and abstract beadwork design. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the elegant length and drape of the skirt-line which is in turn decorated with scattered glass beaded designs. The elegant line and detailed embellishments complete this piece in an iconic and timeless 1940's design.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with some colour variation to the dress throughout, we feel this really adds to the depth of colour and design of this piece. The colour variation appears to have happened after prolonged exposure to sunlight. A few small scattered holes to the tulle overlay. Sone gentle and very natural beadwork loss. These very minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
