"Trailing Beaded Flowers " Vintage 1950's Pink & White Beaded Dress & Matching Coat Set UK 8-10 US 4-6
This breathtaking 1950's dress and coat set, in the most sumptuous shade of pink gabardine, with white accents, and trailing beaded embroidery, is the perfect statement piece for your vintage wardrobe.
The straight cut neckline of the dress is framed by wide shoulder straps. Her fitted bodice, is accented by trailing soutache embroidery and beadwork, surrounding white floral appliqués, decorated with silver and red glass beads, trailing along the bodice, and down the skirt line. Her cinched in waistline, is set off by the drape in the skirt, which is lined in a layer of tulle for added volume.
Her Matching coat, boasts a rounded white collar that joins the front of the open cut in a lapel. Her 3/4 length turned up sleeves are edged with white turned up cuffs to match the collar. The elegant edge to edge cut, sits perfectly above the dress, and completes this wonderful set in an iconic 1950's silhouette.
