A classic silhouette rendered in a vibrant shade of Tiffany blue silk chiffon, this original 1960's dress is just the touch of colour your cocktail wardrobe needs.
The bateau neckline of the dress, is framed by medium shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The elegant fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts beneath either side of the front of the bust-line. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a silk covered pipping detail. The elegant line of the skirt, boasts double pleats to either side of the front of the waistband, setting off the wonderful line and length of the dress. The back of the dress is accented by pleated silk chiffon back straps, that join the top of the bodice in a running stitch and set off the elegant double silk chiffon chiffon features that drape along the length of the dress. The dress is fully lined in rayon.

Condition: This gown is in good but not perfect vintage condition. There are a three small pin holes to the silk chiffon overlay along the left hand side front of the neckline. A small area of wear to the silk chiffon along the left hand side shoulder an a similar one along the right hand side shoulder. A small pin sized mark along the left hand side front of the skirt at midway height. A few very faint and light water marks to the skirt. Wear to the silk chiffon edges along the hemline. A small pin sized hole along the back left hand side shoulder strap, and a small pin hole along the back left hand side sash. A seam mend along the base of the back right hand side sash. These minor details are only apparent upon inspection and not noticeable when the dress is being worn.
