A rare tailored piece to behold, this original 1940's ink blue wool jacket, in a classic peplumed silhouette is the perfect addition to your seasonal wardrobe.
The elegant V shaped neckline is framed by a statement pointed notched collar. The shoulder line boasts internal shoulder pads. The full length sleeves, frame the fitted bodice, which boasts matching wool covered button fastenings. The cinched in waistline is accented by tailored darts, that set off the incredible 4 tiered peplum cut to either side of the front of the jacket. This jacket is fully lined in rayon.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition. The top button of the jacket is missing and it appears that the previous owner has sewn it down creating a notched collar to conceal the missing fastening.
These minor issues are not apparent when the suit is being worn, and only visible under very close inspection
