A rare set to behold, this wonderful late 1930's dress and jacket, rendered in a terracotta coloured linen, and accented by swirling deep rust plastic coloured buttons, is the perfect ensemble to add to your seasonal wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by a slim shawl collar. The simple shoulder line, is accented by seams along the front of each yoke. The short length sleeves, frame the fitted cut of the bodice, which boasts detailed tiered pockets along either side of the bust-line, framing the central button fastenings, and drawing the eye to the pleats that radiate upwards from either side of the front of the waistline. The cinched in waist, is set off by a matching fabric belt, with a rust coloured buckle fastening. The elegant line of the skirt, is accented by inverted pleats along either side of the front of the skirt. The back of the bodice is accented by 5 inverted pleats that radiate up from the waistband, joining simple seams beneath the shoulder panel.
The matching jacket boasts a V shaped neckline framed by notched lapels. The simple shoulder line is accented by angled seams along each yoke. The full length sleeves, frame the elegant straight line of the jacket, which is accented by central button fastenings and large pockets, decorated with V shaped notches, along either side of the front of the hemline .
