The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a simple shoulder line and short length sleeves. The fitted bodice is accented by tailored bust darts and seams that run up from the waistline. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching silk lamé belt, which wraps around the waist and can be fastened in a stylised knot or bow. The elegant skirt, in a full circle cut flows and drapes, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette. The dress is finished with A V shaped backline and a central back zip fastening.

Condition: This dress is good but not perfect vintage condition. The dress was made in the 1950's with older 1930's silk lamé fabric. Colour variation to the lamé fabric between the bodice and the skirt, the skirt appears a slightly lighter shade of blue. There is a dark age mark to the front right hand side of the skirt, this is concealed within the drape but apparent. A few scattered age marks to the skirt, which are well concealed within the lustre of the lamé. These minor details are not overly apparent. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
