The most versatile little pair of 1940's black crepe silk summer sandals you could ever hope to set eyes upon.  

The delicate shoe encloses the front of the foot in a rounded peep toe, accented by overlapping mesh details along the vamp. The elegant crepe silk covered heel and accompanying silk ankle strap is  accented by a gold hook fastening and decorative buckle. The simple wedge heel is covered in matching black crepe silk, completing these beautiful sandals. Lined in a soft tan faille and leather.

Fabric: Leather soles, crepe silk, metal buckles, leather lined soles, faille, mesh

Condition: These shoes are in beautiful vintage condition, with general wear to the soles and insoles. Signs of wear, marks and some holes along the insoles. Some light scuffs and wear to the crepe silk covering, particularly around the toes and heel. Tarnishing to the gold metal features.  Some gentle warping along the heels of the shoes due to storage. Please be realistic, these are vintage shoes and therefore have been worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
