This wonderful 1940's dress in a speckled bouclé wool in mustard and black, with black velvet accents, is just the piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is accented by a central black velvet bib panel in a pointed design, accented by faceted black button fastenings. The elegant shoulder line is set off my internally sewn shoulder pads, that draw the eye to the full length dolman sleeves, finished with black velvet side panel details, adorned with matching black faceted buttons, and discreet metal zip fastenings. The fitted bodice is set off by tailored darts that draw the eye to the cinched in waistline, which is accented by a matching fabric belt. The elegant near full circle skirt, is set off by box pleats to either side of a central inverted pleat along the front of the skirt, completing this dress in an iconic 1940's silhouette.
