This incredible 1940's cotton mix dress, in the most beautiful shade of marine blue, with trailing soutache accents, claw set rhinestones and brass studs, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.
The rounded tiered and notched neckline is framed by a border of silver claw set rhinestones and brass claw set studs. The elegant shoulder line is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads, that set off the wide short length sleeves. The fitted bodice is accented by a trailing soutache pattern in a lighter shade of blue, drawing the eye to the cinched in waistline, which is set off by a matching fabric belt. The elegant line of the skirt, boasts a bias cut and is accented by a wider trailing soutache pattern in V shapes designs that radiate from the waistline.

Closures: This dress fastens to the side with a 9 inch metal zip and a matching fabric belt.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Some light and natural tarnishing to the brass studs along the neckline. A small darn along the front of the skirt to the left hand side, this is well concealed within the drape of the dress. Light and gentle wear to the finishing of some of the soutache embroidery. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
