This wonderful 1930's black silk dress, accented by a silk satin panel of pinstripes in shades of green, cream, pink and violet, is a wonderful statement piece to your wardrobe.
The deep V shaped neckline is accented by satin pinstriped fabric along the nape, which joins the front of the bodice beneath the rounded black silk shoulder panels, and continues down the central panel of the dress. The elegant shoulder line is accented by pleated gathers along each sleeve seam, creating short length puffed sleeves. The fitted bodice is set off by gathered pleats along the rounded satin panel seam, creating elegant pleating beneath the bust-line. The cinched in waistline, sets off the elegant bias cut line of the skirt, which drapes along the silhouette.
The dress fastens centrally with a metal zip fastening.

Gentle pulling to the satin seams along the front right hand side of the bodice along the purple stripe and along the left hand side of the satin panel along the blue stripe. The hem of the dress appears to have been let down, there is a line mark to the front of the striped panel and along the black silk. A small pull to the satin panel along the bottom right hand side of the panel just above the hemline .
