"Silk Matelasse" Vintage 1950's Mushroom Silk Matelasse Bishop Sleeve Coat UK 10-12 US 6-8

This breathtaking 1950's mushroom coloured silk matelasse coat, with red stitching accents contouring the wonderful botanical print, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

Her wonderful shawl collar frames the V shaped neckline, whilst drawing the eye to the statement button fastening. Her dropped shoulders, set off the wonderful pleated mid length pleated bishop sleeves, edged with wide fitted cuffs.
Her wonderful A line cut, is accented by two front pockets, allowing foe the coat to be worn open or closed, for an effortless sleek silhouette.

Condition: This coat is in near perfect condition. With some gentle discolouration along the back of the collar and to the tops of the shoulders. Gentle wear to the lining. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the coat is being worn and only noticeable under close inspection.
