This timeless 1940's jacket, rendered in a shadow grey crepe silk, with delicate detailed woven accents, is just the piece to add to your everyday wardrobe.
The rounded V shaped neckline of the jacket sets off the edge to edge cut, which can be drawn in with a concealed hook and loop fastening beneath the waistline. The simple shoulder line, is accented by tailored darts along each yoke and internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam. The full length sleeves, frame the timeless cut, which is finished with two front pockets along the base of jacket, set off by turned down collars and detailed cut away embroidery features.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect condition. With gentle colour fading along the front pockets and cuffs off the jacket, this appears lighter in certain areas and with a slight tone of pink. This is a natural process for crepe silk when it is exposed to sunlight for prolonged amounts of time. This minor areas of colour variation are not apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
