"Sea Green"Vintage 1940's Lace Detail Dress UK 16 US 12


Made in the most exquisite shade of sea green, with soft woven lace accents, this original 1940's dress is a wonderful addition to your vintage wardrobe 

Her V shaped neckline is framed by small pleats that radiate from the shoulder line and contour the décolletage. Her elegant shoulder line, boasts internal sewn shoulder pads, that set off the mid length sleeves, edged with tired up cuffs. The cross-over cut of the bodice, boasts lace panels that frame the neckline, joining a central decorative matching bow. Her cinched in waistline, is drawn in by a matching fabric belt, which draws the eye to the pleated skirt, which boasts box pleats to the front.

Closures: This dress fastens to the side with an 8 inc metal zip 

Condition: This dress is in good perfect vintage condition. A small pin sized age marks just above the right hand side sleeve cuff .Two light age marks beneath the waistband to the front of the skirt. Some light colour variation to the lace details. Light colour variation along the back of the neckline. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon closer inspection.

Washing instructions: This garment should be washed in cool water, and damp ironed
