This truly vibrant 1960's Schiaparelli pink velvet evening coat, lined in cream rayon satin, is just the statement piece for your wardrobe.
The open cut neckline of the coat is framed by curved pointed lapels that join the front of the décolletage beneath stylised velvet panel tabs. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length sleeves. The longline straight line of the coat is accented by curved seams that run from the sleeve seams to the hipline, creating subtle tailoring along the bust-line. Finished with a central slit along the back of the hemline and fully lined in cream rayon satin, this iconic piece showcases the wonderful evening wear designs of the era.

Condition: This coat is near perfect vintage condition. Natural impression marks to the velvet pile.A few very small pin sized age marks scattered throughout. Very faint wear marks along the edged of the hemline. Light and natural surface scratches to the velvet. Internal age marks to the lining along the nape and shoulder line. These minor details are not apparent when the coat is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
