Rendered in the most wonderful scattered floral print, in shades of blue, grey and white, this original 1930's vintage silk day dress, is just the piece to welcome the new season with.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a mantel designed collar, which edges the top of the sleeves in a fluttered design, and draws in centrally in a matching decorative silk bow. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves. The fitted bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in waistline, which is accented by a matching silk belt, which fastens along the front in a simple bow. The elegant drape of the skirt-line is set off by pointed art deco seams, which set off the bias cut of the bottom of the hemline, completing this dress in a timeless and iconic 1930's silhouette.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure your favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
