A classic silhouette rendered in a cream rayon and ivory organza detailed collar, embellished with iridescent faceted glass beads, lace and clear glass bugle beads, this vintage 1960's dress, is the perfect statement piece for that special occasion.
The elegant rounded neckline is framed by a large scalloped collar, which boasts an ivory tulle base, with an ivory floral lace overlay, accented by pleated and raised organza in the pattern of raised flowers, contouring iridescent glass bead centres, whilst drawing the eye to the scalloped edged of the collar, which is accented by clear glass bugle beads along the border. The collar sits above the fitted bust-line of the dress, which is set off by tailored darts. The cinched in waistline draws the eye to the wiggle cut of the skirt line, which is finished with a central slit along the back of the hemline, completing this dress in a truly mesmerising and iconic 1960's silhouette.
This dress is fully lined in cotton and features a small internal bone along the front of the neckline and bust-line.
