This luxurious 1930's powder blue silk nightdress with delicate white floral embroidered accents, is just the piece to welcome to your lingerie collection.
The V shaped neckline is edged with softly scalloped and embroidered edges, which accent the cross over design along the front of the bust-line and along the back. The wide shoulder straps set off the sleeveless cut, and draw the eye to the delicate white thread floral cut-away embroidery along the décolletage and bust-line. The rounded seam positioned beneath the bust gathers soft pleats that radiate along the base of the bust-line, whilst framing a central floral embroidery design along the waist. The bias cut off the skirt-line skims along the silhouette, whilst the matching silk ties draw the waistline in for a more fitted silhouette. Finished with a delicately detailed scalloped hemline, every element of this night gown showcases the wonderful lingerie designs of the era.

Condition: This nightdress is in near perfect vintage condition. A light grey mark along the front right hand side of the skirt-line, just above the hemline. A few very light age marks scattered throughout, these are very minor and faint in colour. These minor issues are not apparent when the nightdress is being worn, and do not affect the overall quality of this piece. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
