A sight to behold, this original 1950's Emma Domb dress, rendered in a ruby red satin and matching silk chiffon, is just the statement piece to add to your cocktail wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by simple shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The elegant fitted bodice is accented by tailored seams which run along each side, drawing the eye to the fitted waistline and scalloped detail along the top of the skirt-line. Finished with two matching red satin bows. The elegant line of the skirt is set off by gathered pleats along the base of the bodice seam, which radiate along the length of the skirt, which boasts a red rayon lining and single layered tulle petticoat, adding elegant volume and structure to the silk chiffon overlay. The back of the dress showcases a matching scalloped design along the base of the satin bodice, and is in turn decorated with two matching red satin bows.
