This iconic 1940's crepe silk dress, with a wonderful rose floral print in shades of blue, lilac, and pink on an off white background, with green foliage accents, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a rounded notched collar, set off by central black plastic button fastenings. The simple shoulder, sets off the short length sleeves with delicate turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice draws the eye to the waistline. The elegant skirt boasts box pleats to either side of the front of the waistline. The back of the skirt boasts box pleats that drape into skirt.

Closures: This dress fastens with 4 buttons to the front of the bodice and a 7 inch metal zip along the side seam.
Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. With some very light colour fading to some of the floral print. A small age mark to the centre front of the skirt-line . These minor details are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon inspection.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
