"Quilted Silk Velvet" Vintage 1930's Pink Silk Velvet & Fur Edged Quilted Jacket UK 10-12 US 6-8

This exquisite and rare 1930's pink silk velvet quilted jacket, edged with soft sheepskin trim, and lined in silk, is the perfect piece for adding a touch of art deco design to your wardrobe.

Her open neckline is framed by a border of soft fur, and matching strips along each yoke. Her full length bell sleeves, boasts elegant splits along each fur trimmed cuff. The wonderful quilted detailings in geometric designs, set off the iconic edge to edge cut, and beautiful craftsmanship of this piece.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition, with an age mark along the back of the left hand side sleeve. Natural impressions to the silk velvet, which is to be expected of velvet. These are not visible or apparent when the jacket is being worn, and only noticeable under very close inspection.
