This wonderfully constructed 1950's apricot cotton dress, accented by gathered ruffled panels, is just the piece to brighten up your wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a simple shoulder line and a central panel, edged with pleated and ruffled details, setting off the central matching cotton covered decorative buttons. The simple shoulder line sets off the mid-length sleeves, edged with details pleated frills along the cuffs. The fitted bodice, sets off the cinched in waistline. The wonderful Demi-circle cut skirt, is accented by small gathered pleats beneath the pipped waistline, setting off the elegant and iconic fullness of the skirt, photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume. The skirt has an internal interfaced lining that adds structure to the skirt-line.

Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
