This original 1940's navy blue silk dress, with soft blush pink accents, is the perfect addition to your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by a cross over detail along the bust-line, which is accented by sewn pleats that radiate from the shoulder line to the piped under-bust seam, finished with a decorative blush pink rayon rosette along the left hand side of the bust. The simple shoulder line is accented by internal shoulder pads. The full length sleeves are finished with triple press stud fastenings along each internal side of the cuffs. The elegant line of the dress is accented by a wide waist panel, which is set off by a blush pink cotton ribbon that draws the waistline in. The dropped piped waistline of the dress sets off the panelled cut skirt, completing this piece in an iconic earlier 1940's silhouette. Finished with mock matching silk covered button fastenings along the centre back of the dress.
