This beautifully tailored 1940's mustard wool jacket with a woven grey pinstripe pattern, is the perfect statement piece for your everyday wardrobe.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by pointed notched collar that joins the front of the jacket in lapels. Her strong shoulder line, is accented by internal shoulder pads along each shoulder seams, that set off the full length sleeves, which are finished with decorative single black buttons along the external side of each cuff. Her fitted bodice is accented by mock pockets along each yoke, drawing the eye to the statement central black button fastenings. The fitted waistline is set off by tailored darts and front pockets beneath the waistline.
This jacket is fully lined in silk.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition. A small pin sized age mark along the side of the right hand side cuff. A small mend to the top of the left hand side sleeve, this appears as a small darn. Very light colour variation to the silk lining. These are not apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
