Rendered in a mesmerising pink floral lace with a detailed rose pattern and a soft pink silk, this original vintage 1940's dress is a rare piece to behold.
The V shaped neckline, is framed by a simple shoulder line, accented by internally sewn shoulder pads along the shoulder seams. The short length sleeves, are set off by central silk panels. The elegant fitted lace bodice, is accented by small silk tabs along either side of the neckline. The fitted waistline, draws in with a matching silk waist belt, that can be fastened in a bow to the front of the waist. The skirt-line is constructed in alternating silk and lace panels, creating a wonderful textural contrasts whilst adding to the drape and movement of the dress. This dress has elements of sheerness behind the lace, and may need to be worn with a dress slip to conceal ones modesty.
