Made in the softest shade of pink linen and embellished with trailing white floral embroidery with pale blue embroidered accents, set off but linear cut out embroidery details, this original 1950's dress is just the perfect piece for the warmer weather.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a border of white linen piping. The simple shoulder line, sets off wide shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut, edged with white linen pipping along the armholes. The fitted bodice is accent by trailing floral embroidery and cut out embroidery accents, which frame the central pearlised button fastenings. The cinched in waistline, sets off the panelled cut skirt, which has been photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume. Finished with trailing floral embroidery and cut away embroidery along the skirt line, every detail of this dress showcases the iconic silhouette and craftsmanship of the time. The dress is not embroidered along the back.
