With the most eye catching paisley pattern in shades of yellow, red, blue and green with cream accents, embellished in turn with trailing gold sequins, this rare 1940's dress, is the perfect piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
The rounded neckline draws together with a hook and eye fastening, setting off the diamond cut key hole feature along the décolletage. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves, which boast triangular cut out details along each cuff. The fitted bodice boasts trailing gold sequin embellishments. The elegant waistline is accented by gathered smocking stitches to either side of the front of the waist, that radiate into soft pleats along the base of the bodice and top of the skirt-line. The cinched in waistline is set off by a matching fabric belt. The simple skirt line, completes this dress in an iconic 1940's silhouette.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
