"Painted Leaves" Vintage 1940's Silk Hand Painted Blouse UK 14-16 US 10-12
This truly magnificent 1940's Sicilian yellow silk blouse, with a bold and eye catching hand painted leaf motif, is a rare piece to behold.
Her deep V shaped neckline is framed by a cross over cut. Her simple shoulder line sets off the short length sleeves. Her mesmerising hand painted leaf designs embellished with green sequins trail from the right hand side shoulder line, diagonally to join the drawn in waistline. The waistline boasts gathered pleats and is set off by an elaborate bow detail, which is in turn hand painted.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
